General Medicine Clinic - Harley Steet
General Medicine Clinic - Harley Steet
Thorough check-ups and second opinions for long-term conditions, tailored to you.
Service Description
Consultant-led reviews for ongoing conditions and complex symptoms, focused on clarity, safe prescribing, and a practical plan you can follow. In a 45–60 minute visit (in person or video), we take a thorough history, check observations, review your medicines and previous results, examine as needed, and agree your priorities. We interpret existing tests, arrange sensible next steps (e.g., blood tests such as thyroid, HbA1c, lipids, iron/B12; ECG or spirometry if indicated), coordinate imaging or referrals through trusted partners, and provide a written plan and (with consent) a summary to your GP, with clear safety-net advice and follow-up options. Typical reasons to book include high blood pressure, diabetes or pre-diabetes, high cholesterol, thyroid problems, anaemia, kidney or liver test abnormalities, recurrent infections, medication side effects, long-COVID or fatigue, and second opinions on complex or confusing results. This is not an emergency service—if you have severe chest pain, one-sided weakness, heavy bleeding, or severe breathlessness, call 999.
