Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 22 November 2025

  1. Our commitment to accessibility
drparaiso.co.uk is operated by Flux Medical Limited, trading as Dr Paraiso. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website and to access our services. That includes patients, carers, referrers and other visitors with a wide range of access needs.

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, as far as is reasonably possible for a small independent medical practice.

  1. How this website should work for you
On this website you should be able to:

  • Change text size using your browser or device settings

  • Navigate most of the site using a keyboard

  • Navigate most of the site using standard screen readers

  • Zoom in up to at least 200% without the text spilling off the screen

  • Use the site in portrait or landscape mode on mobile and tablet

  • Read text with clear contrast in most areas

  1. Where the website may not be fully accessible
We know some parts of this website may not be fully accessible for all users:

  • Some images may not yet have complete or fully descriptive alternative text

  • Some older documents (for example PDFs or downloads) may not be fully accessible to screen readers

  • Embedded third-party tools (for example online booking or video players) may not fully support all assistive technologies

  • On smaller screens, some complex tables or price grids may require horizontal scrolling

We are working through these issues as the site evolves.

  1. If you cannot access part of this website
If you have difficulty using any part of the website, or you need information in a different format, please contact us and tell us:

  • The web page you were trying to use

  • What you were trying to do

  • What went wrong, or what you found difficult

  • Which device, browser and assistive technology (if any) you were using

You can contact us by:

  • Email: admin@drparaiso.co.uk

  • Using the contact form on our Contact page

  • Writing to us at the practice address shown on the Contact page

We will review your request and aim to respond within 10 working days.

  1. Accessibility of our clinical services
We want our face-to-face and online consultations to be as accessible as possible. Where reasonably practicable, we can:

  • Communicate via phone, video or written channels

  • Arrange longer appointment times if you need more time to communicate your concerns

  • Involve a carer, family member or advocate if you wish

  • Provide written summaries of consultations and plans

  • Discuss any reasonable adjustments you need to attend or take part in your care

If you need any specific support to attend an appointment, please let us know when you book.

  1. Technical information about this website’s accessibility
This website is designed to work with:

  • The latest versions of common browsers (such as Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox)

  • Current versions of iOS and Android mobile operating systems

To get the best experience, we recommend you use the most up-to-date version of your browser and operating system.

  1. Third-party platforms and content
Some parts of our service rely on third-party platforms, for example:

  • Online booking and payment tools

  • Embedded maps, videos or social media content

We try to work with providers who take accessibility seriously, but we cannot guarantee the accessibility of third-party systems we do not control. If you have difficulty with any of these, please contact us and we will offer an alternative route where possible (for example booking by email or phone).

  1. Reporting accessibility problems
If you find any accessibility problems not listed on this page, or you think we are not meeting accessibility requirements, please contact:
    Email: admin@fluxmedical.co.uk

Please include as much detail as you can. That helps us fix real issues rather than guessing.

  1. Escalating a complaint
If you have raised an accessibility issue with us and are not satisfied with our response, you can get further advice from the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS), which advises on rights under the Equality Act 2010.

  2. What we are doing to improve accessibility
Accessibility is an ongoing process, not a one-off exercise. Over the next 12–18 months we plan to:

  • Audit all key pages for accessibility issues and fix high-impact problems as a priority

  • Ensure all new images include meaningful alternative text where appropriate

  • Avoid uploading new inaccessible PDFs unless absolutely necessary

  • Use plain, clear language and consistent headings across the site

  • Build accessibility into future content, design changes and new features from the outset

If you have suggestions on how we can improve accessibility, we genuinely want to hear them. Please contact us using the details above.
